HO, HO, HO, Merry Christmas!
We’ve been busy here at the North Pole learning new things – The elves have been teaching me how to film and use Zoom!
This year all the boys and girls have been behaving extremely well according to my ‘Naughty & Nice List’.
Usually I would be able to see you in person before the big day, but this year it has to be slightly different. I did not want you to miss out so I have joined forces with Rainbows Children’s Hospice to come to you via video or LIVE Zoom link straight into your home!
The team at Knightsbridge have been in touch with Santa and his elves, to arrange for Santa to take some time out of his busy schedule in December and have Zoom calls with lots of lucky children – all whilst supporting Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
The magic of Christmas can be spread through your home, by booking a five minute Zoom call to take place with Santa between 1 December and 16 December 2020.
We’re sure the faces of the lucky children who get to speak to Santa will light up with excitement.
Along with individual Zoom calls, Santa has also had a chat with Mrs Claus, who’ll hold the camera while Santa pre-records video messages too – meaning he can speak to lots of children ahead of Christmas.
Not long now until Christmas Day. – Remember you need to keep being good, tidying your bedrooms, and doing your homework!
Previous Visitors to Santa's Grotto
Our kids loved visiting Santa’s Grotto at Knightsbridge. It was really well organised and felt very festive! The staff had obviously worked hard to make it feel special. The kids loved seeing Santa, and they each got a gift to take away. They also took a photo in the grotto, which was posted to us a few days later; a nice way to remember our visit! I can only imagine how special they will make the pre recorded videos - we are 100% going to book in!
Well, what can I say about the Knightsbridge Grotto….They go above and beyond within the community anyway but at Christmas they transform their offices into a winter wonderland! We’ve visited lots of Grottos over the years but my Children (9 & 11) always look forward to the one at Knightsbridge the most! It’s such a shame they cannot visit in person this year but they are already excited about having a video call with Santa and his lovely elves! but most importantly ALL the money paid to them goes to Rainbows Hospice.
My children have visited the Knightsbridge Grottos for the last 4 years, the elves are AMAZING! You are transported into a winter wonderland, whilst queuing we would sing Christmas Carols, drink mulled wine or hot chocolate and be entertained by the elves. The children get to spend quality time with Santa and get a photo to take away.
One of my favourite places to visit when we do the Grotto is Oadby & Clarendon Park. The volunteers that work at Knightsbridge are amazing, if not a little tall! They help up get the Grotto ready and all spread some Christmas Joy!
Santa’s grotto Knightsbridge I took my one year old daughter to the grotto to meet Santa, the event was meticulously organised and every detail had been carefully considered, there was lots to keep the little ones entertained whilst they were waiting, as well as the adults. The place was decorated amazingly and really brought the magic of Christmas alive. Inside the grotto Santa was very friendly and engaging, as were his helpers who to my surprise even managed to get my reluctant child to have her photo taken! The present, letter and photo were also nice keepsakes and the whole experience was great value for money. Would recommend to everyone 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
